This is also the focus of the “Workshop: Building a Solution Map for Current Challenges,” led by Nguyen Thi Minh Tam – Managing Director at IBH Academy – at HORECFEX VIETNAM 2026.
With more than 15 years of experience in human resources management and training, Tam focuses on aligning people development strategies with business objectives. Rather than treating training as a standalone HR activity, her approach begins with a more fundamental question: what business outcome needs to improve, and what needs to change within the team to achieve that result?
Her experience in talent development, employee retention, performance improvement, and workplace culture gives her a comprehensive perspective on the factors that influence workforce quality. At the same time, her extensive experience designing customized training programs for different organizations has reinforced one important principle: there is no single formula that works for every business.
The workshop at HORECFEX VIETNAM 2026 is therefore designed as an interactive session rather than a one-way transfer of knowledge. Participants will work together to identify real organizational challenges, analyze root causes, determine priorities, and gradually build a solution map that fits their available resources.
For the hospitality industry, this approach is particularly important because operational quality depends directly on people. A guest experience issue may be caused by a skills gap, but it could also stem from ineffective processes, poor coordination between departments, leadership style, or HR policies.
