In addition to these established markets, several emerging markets recorded significant growth. Searches from Azerbaijan increased by 177%, while Poland rose by 66% and Sweden by 55%.
Da Nang Maintains Strong Appeal Among European Travelers
Within Vietnam, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City continued to be the two most-searched destinations among European travelers for the second consecutive year, with Nha Trang following in third place.
The result reflects Da Nang’s sustained appeal among international travelers.

Da Nang’s Strong Appeal to European Travelers
One of the city’s key strengths is its ability to combine a wide range of experiences within a single journey. Visitors can enjoy beachfront resorts, explore the Son Tra Peninsula and Marble Mountains, discover local cuisine, or connect their trip with the cultural heritage destinations of Central Vietnam.
Beyond leisure tourism, Da Nang is also strengthening its position in events, conferences, exhibitions and MICE tourism. This development enables the city to attract more corporate travelers and international visitors with higher spending potential.
From Travel Searches to New Opportunities for Hospitality
Growing interest from European travelers is not limited to online searches.
During the first seven months of 2026, Vietnam welcomed approximately 13.9 million international visitors. European arrivals exceeded 2.35 million, representing growth of more than 53% compared with the same period last year.
Combined with increasingly favorable visa policies and improved air connectivity, these figures signal positive opportunities for hotels, resorts, restaurants and tourism service providers.

Regular Festivals and Events in Da Nang Signal Positive Growth for the Hospitality Industry
However, growing visitor numbers also bring new expectations.
Travelers are increasingly looking for personalized experiences, seamless technology, sustainability, wellness and higher service standards. Therefore, the ability to respond to changing customer behavior will become an increasingly important competitive advantage for hospitality businesses.
HORECFEX VIETNAM 2026 Connects the Trends Shaping Hospitality
Changes in international travel demand form part of the broader industry landscape explored at HORECFEX VIETNAM 2026.

As Da Nang continues to attract strong interest from European travelers and Vietnam strengthens its position on Asia’s tourism map, this is an important time for hospitality businesses to look beyond current visitor numbers.
The key question is no longer simply how many travelers are coming, but how the hospitality industry can turn today’s growing interest into better experiences, stronger revenue and sustainable growth in the years ahead.
