Dr. Minh Nguyen holds a Doctorate in Hotel and Tourism Management from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He currently serves as Director of the Graduate School at Duy Tan University in Da Nang, Vietnam, and is the Country Representative for Vietnam at the Asia-Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (APacCHRIE). He also holds the position of Vice President of the Danang Cuisine Culture Association (DCCA), promoting culinary heritage and food tourism.
He has a seasoned background in academic administration, having previously served as Dean of the Hospitality and Tourism Faculty, Vice Dean of the International School, and Vice Dean of the Business Administration Faculty. His dedication to educational excellence is reflected in his efforts to align academic programs with the evolving demands of the hospitality and tourism industries. His leadership has strengthened partnerships between Duy Tan University and the industry, offering students numerous opportunities for internships, career fairs, and professional growth. His research focuses on food tourism, tourist behavior, Artificical Intelligent (AI) in Hospitality and sustainable tourism development.
