Mr. Cao Tri Dung is a distinguished leader in the tourism sector, currently serving as the Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Da Nang’s tourism industry. His leadership is focused on promoting sustainable practices and ensuring that tourism resources are utilized effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing benefits for the local community. Under his guidance numerous programs aimed at boosting local tourism, supporting businesses, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders were implemented.

Mr. Dung also is a proactive advocate for integrating sustainability into tourism strategies, ensuring that the industry’s growth aligns with environmental and social goals.

Mr Tran Hoang Linh has a bachelor of Bachelor of Economics and nearly 30 years’ experience in the airline industry in Vietnam. He has worked ten years for Vietnam Airlines, seven years for Jetstar Pacific and the last twelve years with VietJet Air witnessing the tremendous growth of both, the airline industry and the tourism industry. Mr Linh is currently Director of VietJet – Central Vietnam.

Mr. Phùng Tuấn Anh is currently the International Sales Manager at Keenon Robotics, one of the pioneering companies in the field of service robotics.

With over a decade of experience in the technology sector, he has previously held roles in consulting and implementing smart lighting systems and intelligent elevators for numerous high-end hotels. These experiences have equipped him not only with a solid understanding of technology but also with a deep insight into customer needs in the service industry.

In his current role, Mr. Tuan Anh is responsible for developing and expanding the international market for Keenon Robotics’ advanced robot solutions. He not only focuses on delivering high-quality products but also aims to provide comprehensive automation solutions, helping to improve efficiency and customer experience in many different fields.

Mr. Bùi Xuân Phong is a member of the Board of Directors of VHG Hotel Management Company and the former General Director of Sam Tuyen Lam Golf & Resorts.

He began his hospitality career in 1996 as a Bellboy and has since held various positions at both domestic and international hotels such as Sunway, Nikko, and Intercontinental, eventually rising to General Manager and later CEO of a hotel and golf resort management company.

In addition to his managerial roles, Mr. Phong is also an author and a mentor, contributing to the training of future generations in the hospitality industry. He has published eight books on hospitality in Vietnam, with notable titles including Hotel Management: Turning Passion into Perfect Service, Customer Psychology and the Art of 5-Star Service, and Delighting Guests Upon Arrival, Satisfying Them Upon Departure.

Mr. Jens O. Reichert is the Vice President, Development, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam for Accor. He oversees the development and growth of the company being based in Bangkok.

Prior joining Accor, Jens worked with Power International Holding, Qatar as Global Chief Development Officer & Head of Asset Real Estate Development directly responsible for ca. USD 2.3 billion in existing investments across several asset classes and ca. USD 1 billion in new developments.

Before that he worked with Cross Hotels & Resorts (a subsidiary of the Flight Centre Travel Group, Australia) as Global Chief Development Officer and Movenpick Hotels & Resorts as Vice President Development Asia Pacific based in Thailand for over 10 years.

Over his 30-year international career Jens held positions as an investor and operator, CEO, CDO, VP, General Manager with a strong focus on hospitality, real estate, retail & commercial and luxury lifestyle.

Mr. John Gardner is a well-seasoned and passionate 5-star hotelier experienced in general management, cluster management of multiple properties, pre-openings, renovations as well as asset management with a detailed understanding of 4- and 5-star brand standards and operations including marketing and finance.

He started his hospitality career in his native New Zealand where he opened and operated a number of restaurants before moving to Australia and had a change of direction into hotels, joining the Accor group in the early 90’s and managing 4- and 5-star properties throughout Asia Pacific before joining IHG and opening two 5-star hotels in China.

In 2007 John moved to Vietnam and joined the iconic and award winning Caravelle Saigon as General Manager then later as General Director of the JV owning company.

In 2021, together with a colleague, he set up Optimum Hospitality, a hotel asset management, consultancy and independent hotel management company. This new venture has expanded to Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos offering a full suite of hotel consultancy services including “white label” hotel management of either franchised hotels or owners own branded hotels.

Ms. Phuong Ta (Nelly) has accumulated experience in the hospitality & entertainment industry which is possibly second to no other.

After starting her career working for various international brands, she joined Vingroup / Vinpearl in various positions reporting directly to the Chairman and Chairwoman. Ms. Nelly was involved in pre openings, openings and leading many crucial projects spanning the fields of management, operations, finances, sales & marketing, human resources, construction and design, digital transformation and more. She also was actively involved in the creation of VinAcademy (now VinUniversity) and Vinpearl Air.

Ms. Nelly notably was leading the negotiations for the successful cooperation between Vinpearl and Melia (15 properties) and Marriott (16 properties).

Today, Ms. Nelly is Chief Operating Officer of T&T Hospiltality overseeing the many ambitious projects of this group.

Mr. Phan Huu Duc brings nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career at Accor Hotel Group and has since held senior leadership roles at prominent hospitality groups in Vietnam, including Paradise Group, Sovico Group, and Novaland Group.

Currently, as the Regional Development Director for Asia at TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts, Duc oversees development in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, The Philippines, and South Korea. He has played a pivotal role in advancing the growth of this emerging hotel brand within the region, achieving notable successes along the way.

Duc’s objective is to lead the robust expansion of the TUI BLUE brand and other hotel brands within the TUI Hotels & Resorts portfolio under the TUI Group. His goal is to establish these brands as sought-after hotel destinations in the territories under his development.

Ms Bousserind is a life-long hotelier graduating from an International Hospitality Management college in Paris. Her latest role was Director of Sales in luxury resorts, performing through the pandemic. Using her 15 years of experience from hotels and corporate offices in France, Benelux, United Arab Emirates and now Thailand, she is currently working for HotStats to develop profitability intelligence for hotels and developers in APAC.

Based in Bangkok, her core role is to provide hotels with profit analysis per department against their market or compset. This allows them to monitor costs while increasing margins on a monthly basis.

Mr. Minh Chu has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Dental Tourism, Resort Real Estate, Senior Talent Development, and projects in the Culinary, Restaurant & Tourism industries.  

Notably, he has more than 15 years of experience in project development and sustainable F&B communities. He recently led significant national projects, such as “Developing Vietnamese Culinary Culture into a National Brand” under VCCA and “Vietnam, a Journey to Become the World’s Culinary Capital” under VFBE.  

He serves as Chairman of the Vietnam Restaurant Association (RAV), the ASEAN Restaurant Association Alliance (ARAA), the World Association of Master Chefs in Vietnam (WAMC), and HTS Holding. 

Born in a tiny village in the middle of the Dolomites, Northern Italy, and spending his childhood in his father’s bakery, he has worked in prestigious restaurants in Italy and France (Trussardi alla Scala, Mirazur, Le Bristol) with some of the most famous chefs whose talent and dedication inspired him.

Always in search of discovery, Alessio travelled the world and had an internship in Kinobu, a one Michelin star restaurant in Kyoto. He later worked 4 years in Paris expanding his knowledge further, particularly at the Ze Kitchen Galerie, another one star Michelin restaurant.

In 2022, Alessio launched Si Dining in Da Nang – selected for the Michelin Guide Vietnam 2024.

Meanwhile he also opened Lim Dining in Hoi An and Em’s Bakery, specializing in pastries and healthy snacks. Soon, Thaiger, dedicated to authentic Thai cuisine will open.

Ms. Trịnh Diễm Vy is the founder and owner, Taste Vietnam Group.

Born and raised in Hoi An Ms. Vy was also blessed with having parents from the North and South. This lead to Ms Vy inheriting a wealth of culinary knowledge. Over 40 years –the first spent in her parents’ restaurant, followed later by her own, she has built up an unrivalled reputation for her knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine.

As of 2021, Ms. Vy owns a string of successful restaurants across Hoi An together with a boutique hotel. With several large-scale projects in development, along commercial/retail food and beverage lines, Ms. Vy’s Taste Vietnam Group looks set to expand both domestically and globally.

Dr. Thuy Le is a passionate Rehabilitation Doctor who focuses on active healthcare, prevention, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and overall mental and physical well-being.

She is dedicated to helping those without a traditional sports background. As a sports enthusiast herself she inspires and empowers her patients to embrace physical activity as part of their daily routine.

Dr. Le plays a crucial role in providing healthcare services to foreigners living in Vietnam. She is actively promoting medical tourism, recognizing the industry’s growth, driven by high service costs and long waiting times in developed countries. From her perspective, the global medical tourism industry, now valued at over 100 billion dollars and projected to grow annually by 20% to 30%, represents both an opportunity and a responsibility.

He is the Founder of CRAFT CI, a company dedicated to cultivating Continuous Improvement within organizational teams through a Knowledge, Alignment & Technology centered approach. He has led his team to serve over 52,000 hotel rooms with CRAFT CI products and services.

He is the winner of the HKB Technology Awards 2024, the APSWC Award for Best Equipment/Technology Partner 2024 and achieved the Forbes 5 star rating for spa service quality in four consecutive years.

Mr Faheem supported the opening of 15+ hotels and spas and over 500 people in operational leadership and line level roles.

Mr. Subhash Chandar, General Manager of ASIA DMC, is an experienced tourism professional. With a career spanning over 25 years, 18 of which were in Vietnam, he is the guiding force behind ASIA DMC’s operations in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

ASIA DMC was the first destination management company to launch Vietnam for Indian tourists. Since then, Subhash and his team in ASIA DMC has successfully managed Indian and multinational MICE groups.

ASIA DMC’s subsidiary company, HG Aviation, is the ground handler for IndiGo Airlines, which launched the first direct flight between India and Vietnam in 2019 and currently operates 14 flights per week to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2022, Subhash and his team successfully handled the first, biggest MICE group of 475 pax from India in Ho Chi Minh City. This successful event marked the beginning of the journey toward recovering and securing Vietnam as a MICE destination for Indian tourists.

Ms. Nidhi Arora, native Punjabi, founded in 2018 Benaras Indian Restaurant and is leading it since then.

Benaras Indian Restaurant have meanwhile become the largest Indian restaurant chain in the country and have earned a reputation as the premier destination for the best Indian food experience.

Ms Nidhi Arora is known for working closely with the Indian Consulate in Saigon and the Indian Embassy in Hanoi to actively promote Indian culture through Indian cuisine.

Her efforts focus on serving traditional Indian dishes in an authentic style to the Vietnamese community, fostering a deeper appreciation for Indian heritage. Through these initiatives, she aims to build strong friendship bonds between India and Vietnam, enhancing cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Born in Lithuania and raised in Norway, Mr. Lukas Petrauskas is a 23-year-old nutritionist, personal trainer, and sales professional with a passion for health and wellness.

His background in sales has helped him develop excellent communication and business development skills, which he has applied to his current venture as one of the founders of Recharged, a health retreat in Da Nang, Vietnam. Recharged offers a variety of services, including saunas, ice baths, yoga, and a menu of nourishing cuisine, all designed to promote natural wellness and rejuvenation.

Mr. Nguyễn Đức Quỳnh is known as one of Vietnam’s leading experts in tourism and hospitality. He began his career at the 5-star international hotel Legendary Sofitel Metropole Hanoi in 1992, holding various key positions at hotels managed by international groups. In 2008, Mr. Quỳnh was appointed Executive Deputy General Manager of Furama Resort Danang, where he successfully led the Furama management team in affirming its leading position in the market and becoming a key player in Vietnam’s hospitality industry.

In 2017, the Board of Directors entrusted him with the position of Deputy General Director of Bắc Mỹ An Tourism Joint Stock Company. Mr. Quỳnh continued his responsibilities, managing all operations of Furama Resort Danang, Furama Villas Danang, and the Ariyana Danang Convention Center. Under his leadership, the team successfully hosted the APEC Summit, earning international acclaim. 2017 and 2018 also marked record-breaking revenue years for Furama Resort Danang.

Due to his achievements in management, in 2020, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Quỳnh was entrusted with several key positions relating to Sovico Group’s development strategy. In February 2020, he was appointed Deputy General Director and Head of the Hotel and Resort Division of Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company. In June 2020, he was appointed Director of Menas Co., Ltd., responsible for developing and managing commercial centers, dining chains, and building management. By October 2020, Mr. Quỳnh was appointed General Director of Bắc Mỹ An Tourism Joint Stock Company, the operator of the Ariyana & Furama Danang Tourism Complex.

Ms Giang Pham is an expert in lifestyle journalism for over 15 years in both Vietnamese and English. Prior to the current position of Managing Editor of Robb Report Vietnam, a leading publication in Vietnam in luxury goods, ranging from cars, watches, yachts, real estates, hotels/resorts, fine-dining restaurants, Ms Giang worked for The Saigon Times Daily newspaper as a senior editor for Travel-Living column. She is now in charge of Lifestyle & F&B sectors of the Robb Report Vietnam and has expanded her connections to key persons in hospitality both in Vietnam and overseas.

She & Robb Report Vietnam had successfully organized the first ever conference on fine dining in Vietnam in November 2023 and helped honor leading restaurants across the country via the Top 25 Gourmet Collection, an annual award initiated by Robb Report Vietnam in 2023. She is co-founder of the IBH Wellness & Spa Institute providing professional consultancy services to stakeholders throughout Vietnam with currently multiple spa and wellness projects.

In addition, she is Director of Wellness & Spa at The Furama Resort Da Nang, Vietnam.

Ms Ivy is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Healing Sound Therapy Expert, Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Mindfulness Meditation Coach, Breathing Techniques Expert, Yoga Teacher, Skincare Expert, and Certified Colonic Therapy Practitioner.

She served as the Director of Knowledge Transfer for the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition (APSWC), representing Vietnam and is an active voice at the World Spa and Wellness, where she connects with a vast network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from around the world.

Mr. Miquel Angel is a Catalan citizen working in Southeast Asia since 1997 and is currently based in Ho Chi Minh City. He also lived in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

All his career had been linked to tourism, hospitality and sustainability.

She served as the Director of Knowledge Transfer for the Asia Pacific Spa and WellneHe is the Founder of MQL Sustainable Tourism Services. In this role, Mr. Miquel Angel is closing the gap between local communities and projects linked to sustainability, eco-friendly tourism development and most important formation & educational support for new leaders & managers in ASEAN industry.

He also serves as the actual Head of Human Resources & Quality working group inside the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board – advising the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam among others. Miguel also was seven years Chairman of theEuropean Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee for Vietnam among other roles.

Mr. Parker has rich experience with world class hospitality chains like Kempinski, The Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Accor Hotels, Leela Palaces and is currently working for the Ariyana Tourism Complex including the Furama Resort Danang.

He is known for his forward-thinking approach, leveraging technology, and prioritizing sustainability.

Mr. Benny Wee is an entrepreneur with a passion for technology and innovation, making him a key thought leader in the hospitality automation sector. As the Founder and CEO of Vendfun, he revolutionizes the self-service kiosk industry with his innovative hybrid kiosks. Vendfun develops multi-functional kiosks designed to enhance user experiences and streamline operations.

Mr. Benny plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, overseeing product development, forging partnerships, and driving sales and marketing initiatives.

Before founding Vendfun, Benny held several significant roles as General Manager for Global Sales and Operations at Carestream, Country Manager for Cambrios, Director of Ecosystem for E3 Displays, and more.

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hồng Thắm is currently the Head of Travel Management Division under the Da Nang Department of Tourism.

With many years of experience in the tourism and travel industry, she is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of travel businesses in the city, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and improving service quality.

Ms. Thắm has made significant contributions to the development of policies and strategies for tourism growth, helping Da Nang become one of Vietnam’s top destinations.

With her deep industry knowledge and effective management skills, she plays a vital role in promoting the sustainable development of Da Nang’s tourism sector while enhancing the experience of visitors to the city.

Ms. Phương is a dedicated professional who specializes in business consultancy including business models, feasibility research and analysis, and M&A. She therefore is deeply familiar with the status of Central Vietnams Hotel and Tourism Industry.

Currently, she leads IBH Solutions – Center for Evaluation and Hospitality Solutions, Phú Long. Aside from also leading the Tourism Faculty of Dong Nam A College, HCMC, Ms. Phuong serves many industry programs as a host and workshop facilitator.
