Jimmy Pham – Pioneering Social Entrepreneur and Founder of KOTO Vietnam
Jimmy Pham is the founder of KOTO (Know One, Teach One), Vietnam’s first social enterprise, which has provided over 1,700 at-risk youth with free, 24-month hospitality training since its founding 25 years ago. Many alumni have gone on to hold leadership roles globally.
He has received numerous accolades, including being named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum (2011), Member of the Order of Australia (AM) (2013), and recipient of the POSCO TJ Park Prize, Waislitz Global Citizens’ Choice Award, and Advance Awards Asia Impact Winner.
Jimmy also leads Vietharvest, a social enterprise tackling food waste and supporting food security in Vietnam. He has served as Vice President of AusCham, board member of CSIP, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from RMIT.
