Mr. Oh Kin Tat

With over two decades of experience in hospitality and business events, Mr. Oh Kin Tat Mr. Oh Kin Tat has built a strong track record in managing large-scale venues and delivering successful events. He currently heads Setia SPICE Convention Centre & Arena in Penang—Northern Malaysia’s largest purpose-built venue—and Setia City Convention Centre in Central Malaysia, where he drives operational excellence, financial sustainability, and innovative event strategies.

His career includes senior roles in both international and local hospitality chains such as Sunway International Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Villa Hotels & Resorts International, Swiss-Garden Hotels & Resorts, as well as major venues like Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Putrajaya International Convention Centre. This diverse background gives him deep expertise in sales & marketing, business development, and large-scale venue operations.

A thought leader in the industry, Mr. Oh has contributed his knowledge globally and locally—sharing insights on international bidding and service excellence at major industry platforms, including a panel discussion sessions organized in ICCA Congress Prague (2016) – and the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) ‘s Hotelier Training Program in 2016.
