Mark Barnett joined the Ministry of Trade in Hanoi in 1993, contributing to the development of Vietnam’s spice industry, especially cassia and pepper.
Over more than 25 years, he built several major export businesses, employing around 8,000 staff and working with 15,000 farming families.
He is the Owner and Director of Cassia Cottage Phu Quoc, a 60-room retreat known for its lush gardens, pure food and discreet service.
