Following the resounding success of HorecFex Vietnam 2024, HorecFex Vietnam 2025 will return on an expanded scale, taking place from August 26–27, 2025, at Ariyana International Convention Center, Da Nang.

Session by Mr. Olivier Messmer – Expert in Sustainable Tourism Development
HorecFex Vietnam 2025 is honored to welcome Olivier Messmer, an expert with over 20 years of experience in sustainable tourism development, currently serving as the Head of the Swiss Sustainable Tourism Project in Vietnam (ST4SD), an initiative sponsored by SECO (Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs). He focuses on promoting sustainable tourism in Vietnam through enhancing public–private dialogue, policy reform, improving mid- and senior-level human resources in the hotel sector, and developing community-based destinations and tourism products.
Previously, he has held key positions in international projects, notably as Head of the USAID-IMCT Project (Integrated Cultural Tourism Management) in Egypt and leader of the Armenia Cultural Heritage Tourism Program funded by USAID. In Morocco, he pioneered new regulations and policies to increase visitor numbers and attract private investment in protected areas. His ability to harmonize differing perspectives between government agencies and the private sector in tourism development has been a hallmark of his work, particularly in overcoming challenges in Morocco and Egypt.
